“A GUIDE TO MESOTHERAPY”

A GUIDE TO MESOTHERAPY

Are you tempted by aesthetic treatments?

Do you want to quickly and dramatically improve the appearance of your skin?

Here is a guide to how Mesotherapy works!

Mesotherapy – What is it?

Mesotherapy is a non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatment. It is minimally invasive.

The procedure involves tiny superficial injections of vitamins, minerals and amino acid cocktails delivered into the Mesoderm (middle layer of the skin).

These cocktails rejuvenate the skin and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, both essential for the skin’s natural elasticity. Improvement of skin quality, lightening and hydration (reduction of wrinkles) are visible almost instantly after the first treatment.

What do Mesotherapy Cocktails contain?

Mesotherapy Cocktails contain mainly hyaluronic acid and other individually selected ingredients such as Vitamins A, C, E or active substances derived from, for example, algae and green tea.

Hyaluronic Acid is the main component of Mesotherapy Cocktails and is a naturally occurring compound in our skin. It acts as a sponge binding water to the skin. One molecule of hyaluronic acid is able to bind about 250 molecules of water. In addition, vitamins delivered to the skin with the help of Mesotherapy show 100% of their predicted activity.

Does it Hurt?

A topical anaesthetic is normally applied prior to the treatment assisting with any discomfort.

How long does a treatment take?

A first treatment can take up to two hours. This would include consultation, numbing and treatment time. Thereafter each session would be approximately one hour

Depending on the size of the area, the actual treatment time can take between 20 to 45 minutes.

How often is the procedure performed?

Each treatment changes the skin for the better. But if we want the effects to last, it should be done in a series of treatments.

Depending on the skin condition it can anywhere between 3 to 7 treatments performed at intervals of 7 to 21 days. Then it’s enough to do every 6 months

How long will the results last?

Duration of procedures: Once every week for 4 weeks

Maintenance: One procedure per month.

The course can be repeated after 4 months.

What to expect after a treatment?

It is recommended that you have some time to recover after your Mesotherapy treatment. You will experience some superficial swelling, which will settle within 24-48 hours. Although rare, other possible side effects include the appearance of some small needle marks which will also subside  within a few days. Treatment around the eye area may take longer to settle; possibly 5-7 days.

Who is suitable for Mesotherapy?

Everyone will benefit from Mesotherapy (both men & women), particularly those concerned with fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, skin texture issues and general skin rejuvenation.

Are Mesotherapy Treatments safe?

As Hyaluronic Acid is naturally found in the skin, and depletes naturally as we get older, it is completely safe to inject into the mesoderm and provides a very effective rejuvenation treatment for clients.

How much do Mezotherapy treatments cost?

A single treatment will cost approximately €120

Normally a clinic will offer a special deal if you do a course of treatments. For example 4 treatments for the price of 3.

Is it effective?

Very!

Skin becomes luminescent, hydrated, nourished, firmer and texture is improved.
